BRIEF:

Create a streetwear band that combines my love of street dance, personal expression, and streetwear culture.

SOLUTION:

This is an ongoing personal side project of mine, which allows me to explore my personal artistic expression with no limit to what I want to create. Having sourced multiple suppliers with different specialties in apparel production, I was able to produce shirts which I was then able to sell and distribute to the local Sydney Dance scene at events and gatherings.

The challenge of transferring illustrations to be able to fit the simple medium of tee shirts alone, led me to research different techniques, such as sublimation, heat press, screen printing and digital printing.

But simply printing a drawing on some fabric would not transfer to sales. I had to do market research, cost analysis and promote my brand so it could be as successful as is it today.
