BRIEF:

Vibes Hip Hop Party was a one off club event whose theme was to bring back the MTV era of Hip Hop to the dance floor.

SOLUTION:

As this would only be a once off event, there were not many restrictions in the marketing of the event. I suggested we draw inspiration from the MTV era of Hip Hop, not only for the posters and flyers but the event itself, as this would be the prime target audience they were trying to attract. I was able to research the aesthetics of that era and did my best to replicate the colour palette and the hand drawn wavy lines from the marketing shorts between shows and commercials.
